🔑 License Activation Help

Step-by-step guide to activate your Pro license

How License Activation Works

Web Iron Shield uses a hardware-locked licensing system. This means your license is tied to your specific computer, ensuring security and preventing unauthorized sharing.

Step 1: Find Your Device ID

  1. Open Web Iron Shield on your computer
  2. Click the "🔓 Upgrade" button in the top-right corner
  3. Your Device ID will be displayed (looks like: A1B2C3D4-E5F6G7H8)
  4. Click the "Copy" button to copy it to your clipboard

Example Device ID:

A1B2C3D4-E5F6G7H8

Step 2: Purchase Your License

  1. Click the "💳 Pay with PayPal" button
  2. Complete the $49.99 USD payment via PayPal
  3. You'll be redirected to our Thank You page

Step 3: Email Us Your Details

Send an email to taqijoburg@gmail.com with:

  • ✅ Your Device ID (copied from the app)
  • ✅ Your PayPal email address
  • ✅ (Optional) PayPal transaction ID

Subject: License Activation Request

Hi,

I just purchased Web Iron Shield Pro.

Device ID: A1B2C3D4-E5F6G7H8
PayPal Email: myemail@example.com

Please send my serial key.

Thanks!

Step 4: Receive Your Serial Key

We'll send your unique serial key within 24 hours (usually much faster!). Your serial key will look like:

XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Step 5: Activate Your License

  1. Open Web Iron Shield
  2. Click "🔓 Upgrade" or go to License → Activate License
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Enter your serial key
  5. Click "✓ Activate License"

🎉 That's it! You now have unlimited scans!

Troubleshooting

❌ "Invalid Serial Key" Error

  • Make sure you're entering the serial key exactly as provided (including dashes)
  • Check that you're using the correct email address
  • Verify that your Device ID hasn't changed (hardware upgrades can change it)

❌ "License Already Used" Error

Each license is valid for ONE computer only. If you've changed computers or reinstalled Windows, contact us to transfer your license.

❌ Device ID Changed

Your Device ID may change if you:

  • Upgrade your CPU, motherboard, or hard drive
  • Reinstall Windows
  • Change your network adapter

If this happens, contact us with your old and new Device ID, and we'll update your license.

❌ Didn't Receive Serial Key

  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Make sure you provided the correct email address
  • Send a follow-up email to taqijoburg@gmail.com

Transferring Your License

If you need to transfer your license to a new computer, contact us at taqijoburg@gmail.com with:

  • Your original email address
  • Your original Device ID
  • Your NEW Device ID (from the new computer)
  • Reason for transfer

License transfers are limited to 2 per year.
