1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Web Iron Shield ("the Software"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.

2. Description of Service

Web Iron Shield is a website security scanning and vulnerability detection software designed for security professionals, web developers, and website owners. The Software scans websites for potential security vulnerabilities including but not limited to SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and other common web application security issues.

3. Authorized Use Only

⚠️ IMPORTANT: You may ONLY use Web Iron Shield to scan websites that you own or have explicit written authorization to test. Unauthorized scanning of websites is illegal and may result in criminal prosecution.

By using this Software, you agree that:

You will only scan websites you own or have written permission to test
You accept full responsibility for any scans you perform
You will not use the Software for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
You will comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws

4. License

Upon purchase of a Pro license, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software on one (1) computer. The license is tied to your hardware ID and cannot be shared or resold.

Free Version: Limited to 3 scans with basic features
Pro Version: Unlimited scans with full features, lifetime updates included

5. Restrictions

You may not:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the Software
Rent, lease, loan, sell, or sublicense the Software
Remove any proprietary notices or labels on the Software
Use the Software to develop competing products

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

The Software will detect all vulnerabilities
The Software will be error-free or uninterrupted
Results from the Software are accurate or complete

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL WEB IRON SHIELD OR ITS AUTHOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Web Iron Shield and its author from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Software or violation of these Terms.

9. Updates and Modifications

We reserve the right to modify the Software and these Terms at any time. Pro license holders will receive updates automatically. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate your license immediately if you breach any provision of these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy any copies in your possession.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
