1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Web Iron Shield ("the Software"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, don't use the Software. JSC Cards Pty Ltd ("we", "us") operates Web Iron Shield.
2. Authorized Use Only
This is the most important rule. You may use Web Iron Shield only on:
- Websites you own
- Websites you have explicit, written authorization to test (e.g. bug bounty programs, pentest engagements, your employer's assets)
- Test targets provided by recognised security-training platforms
Running security scans, vulnerability tests, or exploitation attempts against third-party systems without authorization may violate:
- The Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (US)
- The Computer Misuse Act (UK)
- The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (South Africa)
- Equivalent computer-crime laws in your jurisdiction
We are not responsible for — and explicitly disclaim liability for — any use of the Software against unauthorized targets. The in-app authorization dialog exists to make you pause and confirm. Don't ignore it.
3. License Grant
Subject to payment and compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Web Iron Shield on up to two (2) devices you personally control.
You may not:
- Distribute, resell, sublicense, rent, or lease the Software
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except where this right is granted by law that cannot be waived
- Remove copyright, license, or proprietary notices
- Use the Software in a way that violates applicable laws
4. Pricing & Refunds
The free tier is limited to 3 full scans. The Professional tier is a one-time payment with lifetime updates. Refunds are offered within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked — email licenses@webironshield.com with your purchase email.
5. Updates
Lifetime updates means we will continue to provide updates for all bought licenses at no additional cost for the lifetime of the product. We reserve the right to change pricing for new customers, but existing customers are grandfathered.
6. No Warranty
Web Iron Shield is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the Software will:
- Find every vulnerability (no scanner does)
- Never produce false positives
- Work on every target or configuration
- Be uninterrupted or error-free
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Software is limited to the amount you paid for your license. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced via the Software's update system and on this page. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Johannesburg.
