Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Web Iron Shield software ("the Software") operated by Taqi Abughazaleh ("us", "we", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use the Software.

2. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Free Trial: Use the Software for up to 3 scans at no cost
  • Pro License: Upon purchase, use the Software for unlimited scans on ONE computer

The license is tied to your specific hardware (Device ID) and cannot be transferred to another device without our authorization.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Software only for lawful purposes. Specifically, you agree to:

  • Only scan websites you own or have explicit written permission to test
  • Not use the Software for any illegal activity
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
  • Not redistribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the Software
  • Not use the Software to attack, harm, or exploit websites without authorization

4. Legal Compliance

IMPORTANT: Scanning websites without authorization may be illegal in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Software complies with all applicable laws, including but not limited to:

  • Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) in the United States
  • Computer Misuse Act in the United Kingdom
  • Similar cybersecurity laws in other jurisdictions

We are not responsible for any legal consequences arising from your misuse of the Software.

5. Payment and Licensing

  • The Pro License is a one-time payment of $49.99 USD
  • Payment is processed securely through PayPal
  • Upon payment, you will receive a unique serial key tied to your Device ID
  • License keys cannot be shared or transferred
  • We reserve the right to revoke licenses that violate these Terms

6. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the Software, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase. See our Refund Policy for details.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The Software will detect all vulnerabilities
  • The Software will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • The results will be 100% accurate
  • The Software will meet your specific requirements

Security scanning is an aid to, not a replacement for, professional security audits and penetration testing.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Security breaches on your websites
  • Legal consequences from unauthorized scanning
  • Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Software

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software.

9. Intellectual Property

The Software, including its code, design, features, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the Software.

10. Updates and Support

  • We may release updates to the Software at our discretion
  • Pro license holders are entitled to lifetime updates
  • Support is provided via email on a best-effort basis
  • We do not guarantee response times for support requests

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy any copies in your possession.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
